For my birthday my wonderful husband bought me a new camera!! It's been several years since I've had a good camera and I'd forgotten how much fun it is to take pictures! This post is about a few of the pix I've taken.
I had Miki and Jill outside by our shed taking pictures. We'd done good to alude Marlee and she didn't know where we'd gone. In the above picture Miki spotted Marlee coming at us full speed. I snapped the camera just in time to catch her reaction... can't you just hear the scream!
Mackayla was pretty goofy through it all... both girls were so much fun. Although I could not get Miki to look at the camera!
When it was Jill's turn she asked what she was supposed to do. I told her to do whatever she thought a cowgirl would do. Because there wasn't any straw around she thought that grass would be the next best thing.
YYEeee HHaaa!! All's this girl needs is a horse!

Mackayla and Jill were excited to help harvest the pumpkins this year... Sam had better plans at a friends house! Kay went out and cut the pumpkins from their vines and by the time I made it out there the girls had most of them already to the lawn.

I had to chuckle to myself... I watched Jillian carry a couple of pumpkins to the lawn then she had a better idea - Jill "let" Miki carry the pumpkins from the garden to the edge of the lawn where she was waiting to put them in the pile. Mackayla was such a determined little girl, and very happy to do it!
The day after my birthday Kay took the day off from work and the two of us went out on Elk Ridge to go four - wheeling. It was a great day, and I enjoyed it so much. We saw a lot of really pretty country.

Of course, we'll expect lots more blog posts from you now you have a new camera!!! Was just thinking about the red country a couple days ago and these pictures make me homesick.
Your pictures brought tears to my eyes. They are amazing and its so much fun having a camera that can actually catch the VERY MOMENT! I love it! I also love the picture of the tree limb/berry. You are so natural at taking pictures!! I am so glad just the two of you got out on a 4 wheeler ride, what beautiful country! Did I live near that once? I don't remember appreciating that. I was a dumb teenager I guess that didn't care. Now I want to go back and take all of it in again and go 4 wheeling there. I love your posts!!
